University issues, festival decisions and The Hobbit.

This is is a sort of 'part two' to my post from last month, 'University and festival dilemmas!'. As you may remember, my UCAS application hadn't been processed so I talked to my tutor about it and, well...

...it still hasn't been processed. The deadline from which universities had to have responded has long passed, so I guess this means I have to take matters into my own hands and go to Solent University to talk to someone of importance who could probably help sort this for me. It wouldn't be so bad if I didn't need accommodation in halls of residence (living on campus at the university) because I could probably easily get a place through clearance (very last minute applications), but since I do need accommodation I will have to get this sorted and try and get a conditional offer from Solent by talking to them and telling them the deets. However, it shouldn't have to be this way - college should have sorted this for me long ago! It's not even free to apply through UCAS - you have to pay just over £20 for 2+ applications to universities. Annoying.

Anyway - moving onto the next part of the post. Festivals. I have finally decided what I am going to do! I am going to stick to just Isle of Wight with my dad, as I have realised my bass isn't exactly fitting to all genres of music... I would have to join a glam, pop-punk, dubstep or something-else-colourful band for it to fit in with the music. So I need the money I had originally set aside for Download for a new bass, as I don't want to get rid of the bass I already have seeing as I've barely had it a year! I have found an incredibly beautiful Schecter bass which has a slimline neck like my current bass also has. I can't remember the model though, meaning I have yet another reason to go to Southampton seeing as the music shop I saw it in is there. It's literally the coolest looking music shop ever...
See! It's a motherflipping amp. How cool is that? It's got an amazing range of guitars and basses; I went in it for the first time the other day whilst I was on a meeting-up with a potential band member. It was a good day and we're hopefully going to have a jamming session pretty soon.

Time for part three of this post. I finally watched The Hobbit yesterday; I was round my best friend's house and she'd recently bought it on DVD so she asked me if I wanted to watch it in the morning after going to see Scholars, seeing as I was sleeping round her house that night. I can honestly say it is I-N-C-R-E-D-I-B-L-E and if you haven't already seen it, go and watch it as soon as you can! I cannot wait for parts two and three and I already have a massive crush on Kíli (played by Aidan Turner). Omnomnomnomnom.

And that's all. Over and out.

    1. It's amazing! I was going to see it in the cinema but the person I was going to go with kept messing me about (I was 'dating' him) and then by the time he decided he wanted me again it was out of cinemas ahhh :( but I've seen it now so it's all good! I can't wait for the next one either :D
