Well... not entirely.
I do have one major problem though. DVLA sent my provisional driving licence application back, as I didn't fill in one section where someone has to verify my identity. I didn't actually know I was supposed to fill that section out so now I have to get that done and re-send the application - meaning my ID will definitely not be here in time for my birthday. Booo!
However, luckily I'm not too bothered about going out on my birthday in terms of getting incredibly drunk since I'm not much of a drinker anyway, I only have a couple of pints at most. Plus, I have the Southampton v West Bromwich Albion football match to look forward to before that (one weeks' time! And I get to see my favourite footballer, Morgan Schneiderlin, yes!) and then me, my dad's side of the family and my best friend are going to Frankie and Bennys on my birthday for a mid-afternoon meal, which should be good! And since drinking laws state that 16 year olds and over can legally have a drink of wine or cider with their meal, I'll still be able to have my first legal pint of cider, yay! Even though that specific drink would be legal anyway... but I can pretend, until I finally get my licence.
I guess it's not too bad. I'm meeting up with a friend (who I haven't seen since school) the Friday after my birthday; he's just turned 18 too so we were originally planning to go out for a few alcoholic drinks and a catchup. However, obviously I'll only be able to have fun with my Coca Cola due to the ID problem, but he said he'd sneak me a rum & coke. Easy enough, it looks exactly the same as normal coke!

P.S. my birthday is next Sunday, the 28th, if you were wondering!
