Footballers = Eye Candy.

So, over the past few months I have been getting interested in football again, my last "I love football" phase being back in the end of junior school through to about year 8. At the time I supported Portsmouth, but then decided that no, I wanted to be different from everyone else (everybody in my class supported Portsmouth too) and so I decided that I would support Chelsea. This resulted in me gaining a Chelsea towel, mug and keyring - no idea where the mug and keyring have gone, but I still have the towel! However, everyone teased me for supporting them so then I decided to support Portsmouth again. I never really told anyone this until along came the FA Cup final and we had a non-school uniform day (for some reason) - I was the only one in my class to wear a Portsmouth football top, not even any of the boys were wearing one! I still actually have my Portsmouth top stashed away in my wardrobe, and it surprisingly still fits me... however, a little snugly.

Anyway, fast forward five years and I am now coincidentally enough supporting Portsmouth's rival team, Southampton! After a hiatus of not really bothering with football any more, I decided it was time to get back into the beautiful game. That's when I did the stewarding course and stewarded the Southampton vs. Manchester City game back in February, where Southampton won 3-1 (COME ON YOU REDS!). After that match, and since my bass teacher is a massive Saints fan, I decided that Southampton really weren't as bad as everyone was making them out to be so I soon ended up supporting them. Then I realised I really liked Man City too (though I'm glad Southampton won against them) so I decided they'd be my second favourite team. And THEN I remembered, 'hey I supported Chelsea back in the day' and by now it didn't really matter what team you supported because at the end of the day, any hate you get over the team you support is only a little bit of harmless banter. So then I decided they'd be my third favourite team.

Anyway. Enough of my ramblings (thank you if you're still reading) and onto the main part of the post. Like the title suggests, MANY FOOTBALLERS ARE MAJOR EYE CANDY. So here's my top six list of the best:

1.) Morgan Schneiderlin - Southampton
He may be #4 on the team, but he is my #1. I saw him for the first time when I was stewarding and I instantly thought "wow, he's hot" and as soon as I got home I googled him and he turned out to be waaaaay hotter than I thought. Bonus!
Morgan, you're my favourite.

2.) Sergio Agüero - Manchester City
I also saw him when I was stewarding, and I instantly rated his skills. Although he didn't score that day (it was Edin Džeko) I thought he was amazing. And of course, I googled him as soon as I got home and as you can (hopefully) see, he's so adorable! He also has a bromance with Messi.
He's too damn cute.

3.) Iker Casillas - Real Madrid
I discovered him years ago when I had football Top Trumps (anyone remember those?! Major part of my childhood) but I've only recently realised how damn attractive he is. What is it with the foreign footballers and being hot? All three I've listed so far are foreign!
Woah Iker, like can you not?

4.) Lucas Piazón - Chelsea (on loan at Málaga)
I think one of the best things about this guy is he's only a year older than me at 19. He's already been compared to Kaká (one of Brazil's best, and we all know how good Brazil are at football, and Lucas is Brazilian himself) and obviously has a lot of potential. He's so cute, awh.
Can I have him? Please?

5.) Cristiano Ronaldo - Real Madrid
How could I not include him? One of the world's best, or maybe even still the world's best (personally I think him and Lionel Messi are equal in skill) and obviously one of the hottest footballers ever. A lot of people think he's arrogant, but as far as I can tell he is a pretty genuine person.
See, he's capable of being cute & sweet.

6.) Eden Hazard - Chelsea
First and foremost... DAT ASS. Seriously, he has the best bum in the Premier League. And he stays true to his surname... he's a hazard to every team up against Chelsea when he's playing. Except for Southampton the other week, ha. He's just so strangely attractive though.
He has an ass to rival Beyoncé's.

That is all! I hope you liked this post, even though I'm guessing most of you aren't really that into football. But hey, you got to see some attractive guys. Not all too bad really, right? And oh look, all of them were foreign deliciousness! Also, this is supposed to be Monday's post, although it is now the very early hours of Tuesday morning. :) Oh yes, just a little side note... Southampton aren't as good as I'm making them out to be. They're a lot better than people give them credit for since they are doing well at 11th in the league, but they're only just in the Premier League again!
