I take three sugars and milk in both my tea and coffee, but when it's with coffee a teaspoonful of hot chocolate powder is most appreciated; I prefer mocha. I also really, really, REALLY love mermaids, quite specifically Ariel from The Little Mermaid. Anyway, this is a blog of pretty much everything and anything going on in my life and I'm sure you'll get to know me better through reading! I try and update frequently, so check back often. ☮+♥.
So, today I am going to see a little band called Scholars with my best friend, Zahna. They're a band she's loved for a little while now and she asked me to go with her to today's gig, and I thought I'd might as well because although I haven't listened to them much they are a pretty damn good band and it'll still be fun. Also, I barely ever see Zahna these days which makes me sad, so it'd be silly to turn this down, especially as she's been my gig buddy ever since we were young and naïve at All Time Low back in 2010 (picture this, we thought we were incredibly cool being in the mosh pit since we were really close to the front, then BAM Zahna gets hit in the face and comes out with a swollen lip. No more mosh pits). So yeah... this is actually the first gig we've been to together in almost a year if you don't count Download - the last one being Lostprophets back on the 2nd of May. Bear in mind we used to go to one every couple of months or so.
Anyway - I'm going to be leaving to go to hers very shortly, at around 11:20 which is approximately 12 minutes away. We're then walking to the ferry, getting the ferry over to Portsmouth, and then walking to The Cellars. It's going to take us ages waaahh. We're aiming to get there for about 1, to meet the band before the soundcheck. The funny thing is, Zahna's talked to them enough that they're bound to recognise her! Woooo.
