So... I was right! Sort of.

I am indeed going to see the Spice Girls musical, 'Viva Forever!' and I am so excited! Although... my mum is a little upset that I wasn't as surprised as she hoped I'd be... oops. :P However, yesterday I thought we were going to see it today. That's where I was wrong, and where the 'sort of' comes into it. We're actually going to see it Wednesday. Because of this, I have now updated my playlist for the week (yesterday's post).

Yeeessssss!!!! :D
Then, we're staying overnight in a hotel and on Thursday we're going to Covent Garden to have a look around, so I'm pretty excited about that too since the last time I went there, I was really little.. especially as my parents were still together, and they split up 10 years ago. Time flies...

As some of you may know, Spice Girls were my favourite group all throughout the 90s (well, the last half of the 90s since I was born in 1995) and the first few early years of the 00s too. I looked up to them and wanted to be just like them to the point I was intent on starting my own group ALSO called Spice Girls... until my mum told me I wouldn't be able to call it 'Spice Girls' since it was already copyrighted. Either way, I still loved them, and can just about remember the sad times when Geri left the group. :(

And now I think Victoria's left. Although Geri's back and has been for ages, it'll never be the same again. Waaah. If Victoria doesn't rejoin, I'll never get to see the original Spice Girls, because I never saw them when I was little either. But I guess seeing Viva Forever will make up for this a little bit.

I love you I love you I love you Spice Girls.
Spice Girls were and always will be my first inspiration. I credit them as one of the reasons why I'm still so into music, because they were the first ones to teach me girls can make it in the music industry too. Thinking back on it, they seemed so bad-ass to me and that's why I wanted to be just like them. GIRL POWER!
