Pokémon!

I have recently rekindled my love for Pokémon thanks to my best friend, Zahna. She's been playing it a lot recently and told me to go and download this program called PokeMMO which enables you to play Pokémon FireRed from the comfort of your computer screen. It's honestly amazing. All you have to do is register an account and then download it - follow the instructions on the screen it takes you to when you go to download the program!

Actually, that's not all. You also have to download the FireRed ROM, unzip the folder and put the actual file into the ROMs folder of PokeMMO. It's straightforward though, and now that's all you have to do. Click on PokeMMO and you're set to go! This is my character; she ended up looking like Ariel from The Little Mermaid so I decided to call her Ariel, funnily enough (or rather ArieI because it wouldn't let me have 'Ariel'). 

You can also name your rival. So, keeping with the whole Little Mermaid thing, I named my rival Ursula.

And then I realised my rival is a boy.

So now he's a boy called Ursula, woohoo! Also, if you're interested to know, I chose Squirtle as my starting Pokémon as I think that would be the one Ariel would choose if she was really a Pokémon trainer.
