Fashion Friday #2

Today I'm going to be creating an outfit based around a pair of shoes from my mahoosive shoe spam the other day... the crazy, wonderful, colourful heels!

I've focused the outfit around the colours pink and blue seeing as the shoes are of course, pink and blue. I hope you like this outfit - I thought the Nirvana top would be a very fitting tribute to Kurt Cobain seeing as today marks the day he died. I wanted to include something Alice In Chains-related to tribute to Layne Staley, seeing as today is also the day he died, but I didn't find a thing so instead I will leave a link to one of my favourite Alice In Chains songs at the end of the post.

I love the bright colours in this; I adore the Nirvana shirt although I'm not sure if it's an official licensed product! If so, I'd definitely look into buying it but one thing that puts me off is if people think I've bought the top because I think it's pretty, instead of my being an actual fan (which I really am!). I guess this brings us onto a mini rant I have - many people wear band tops these days because they want to look cool, fit in or because they don't realise it's a band top (shame on them). I say what's the point in supporting a band by wearing the top if you don't actually like the band aka support the band? It's like buying a bottle of drink because you like the look of it, regardless of if you like the taste or not.

ANYWAY. I hope you liked the outfit as much as I liked putting it together (did I say this last time?) and I will leave you with a link to Rooster by Alice In Chains <3
