But I have been buying A LOT lately and due to AmazingPhil (check him out if you haven't already, he's awesome!) and the time he first tried a Pop Tart, a Cookies and Creme Pop Tart to be exact, I have been trying to find Cookies and Creme Pop Tarts for myself. Going by where Phil found them (Tesco, yay!) I proceeded to go on a Pop Tart hunt...
So today I met up with my friend in Fareham and I told him about my hunt for these specific Pop Tarts. Luckily, we have a super big Tesco in Fareham (complete with a Costa Coffee, yay! As if we don't have enough in Fareham already... we have another two. Yes. TWO.) so we decided to have a little looksie in there. Well. They did have Pop Tarts, but only the Choctastic ones. Sadtimes! We then decided to look in this American sweet shop tucked away behind the high street.
And guess what? No Cookies and Creme Pop Tarts there either! By now we had run out of places to look, as I'd already looked in Morrisons and Asda with no such luck (they're back in Gosport anyway). Also, the little corner shop a couple of minutes away from my house has all but one of the variety of Pop Tarts this sweet shop had. Also, for 90p cheaper. Disappointment!
Cookies & Creme Pop Tarts... I WILL find you. One day. |
And so ended the hunt for the Cookies and Creme Pop Tarts. For now. Cookies and Creme Pop Tarts, I will find you (eventually). And I WILL EAT YOU.
If anyone knows what shops in England do C&C Pop Tarts, I would much appreciate if you could let me know! Also, thank you for reading my silly ramblings about Pop Tarts. This is probably one of the weirdest posts I will ever make.
