Or rather, image courtesy of me since I spent the last half hour watching a video - which IS courtesy of my mumma - and pausing it at suitable places to screenshot and save the images. I tried to capture when me and Shannon started dancing at each other, but unfortunately each time I tried to screenshot, it came out blurry... so instead, you will have to watch the video ;) It's not the whole song but a fair amount of it at least. We wrote this song; it's called 'Good Time' and it was originally supposed to be a party song...
I hope you enjoy it as much as we enjoyed writing and performing it :) Sorry that some of it is sideways! Also you can't hear during that song, but my friend kindly let me borrow his bass distortion pedal for the gig so I could add some, y'know, distortion to my bass. If you're interested, this was our setlist...
1) Good Time - Rough Love (our song yaaaay!)
2) I Knew You Were Trouble - Taylor Swift (complete with bass pedal and goat noises)
3) Locked Out Of Heaven - Bruno Mars
4) Somebody That I Used To Know - Gotye (we did a dubstep version of this, more bass pedal!)
Meanwhile, I got THE most fabulous shoes for this gig - concealed wedge trainers which cost only £18 from Primark. If you're looking to buy them too you'll be happy to know I only got them this Monday just gone, so I'd imagine they are still well in stock!
They do become a little bit uncomfortable after a while, but they are incredibly comfy in terms of heels and wedges. As you can see from the video, I had no problem dancing about the stage in them. Also, here's my trusty Metallica necklace which is pretty much the only necklace I had to match the shoes and my outfit. But that's okay, because Metallica are one of my favourite bands.
I would upload a photo of the shorts, but they're now in for washing... whoops. Probably should have thought about that before! Maybe when I get them back in my wardrobe I'll take a photo of them, but for now you can sort of make them out if you go to my Flickr and have a flick through the photos.
Yes, pun intended.
