Today I went to Fareham as there were these sunglasses I'd seen on Polyvore that I really liked, and coincidentally enough they were from Topshop and in stock in the closest one to me. So I decided to go there to see if I suited them...
I absolutely love the swallow detail on the edges - I think it's an adorable little addition to such pretty, vintage-looking sunglasses. They were £20, although since I had my student card with me I got a cheeky little 10% discount meaning I paid £18. A little more than I'm usually willing to shell out on just a little accessory, but I just couldn't resist them and for once, I could actually afford to spend out a little more than usual!
I have also decided to try out gradual tan - every year I try and get a tan, but every year I end up staying pale as a ghost. So this year, I decided to put my "I don't want to be fake" thoughts behind me and try out Superdrug's own gradual tan lotion which I bought for £4.99. I may have to try this out a little later so I can start my tan off for tomorrow's day at college!
As you can also see from the photo, I bought new sheer black tights for £2.99 from New Look. I got a ladder in my previous ones (or should I say, my mother's, but she doesn't know they were hers oops) so I decided it's time to buy another pair seeing as I need tights to wear with the white lace dress, as it is really rather short! And also, I don't like wearing socks with bare legs so tights are my only other option, as I wear the dress with cute little leather brogues I bought from New Look for around £15.
